The film we are talking about is Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan. This film was released in theaters on the occasion of Eid in the year 2024.
The film had superstars like Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. Along with Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F, Sonakshi Sinha also played an important role in Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan.
However, after hitting the theatres, the film was rejected by the audience. Despite the tremendous action sequences in the film and the stardom of Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff, the film could not attract the audience to the theatres.
With this, this film proved to be a big disaster at the box office.
Let us tell you that the action thriller ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’, made with a huge budget of Rs 350 crore, could earn only Rs 66 crore in India and collected Rs 102 crore worldwide.
With this, the film suffered a loss of Rs 250 crore and made the makers bankrupt.
This film was also embroiled in controversies. After the film failed at the box office, producer Vashu Bhagnani filed a case of criminal conspiracy and forgery against director Ali Abbas Zafar for allegedly cheating him and embezzling his money.
After releasing on the occasion of Eid on April 11, the film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar has started streaming on OTT giant Netflix from June 6. Even after its streaming release, the film faced criticism.
